Hi, I’m Brian Young: the owner and founder of Home Painters. How did our passion for painting homeowners’ dreams and being a leading painting company in Toronto begin? Let me tell you!

It all started back in 1987, during my first year at York University. A friend of mine on campus recruited me to run a student painting company over the summer. Obviously, I needed to pay my way through school, so I decided that I would give it my best shot.  What I thought was a temporary job turned out to be one of my greatest learning experiences! More importantly, I fell in love with changing clients’ lives by painting their homes. Thus, watching the elated reactions of my clients when they saw how I transformed their home became somewhat addicting.

With this in mind, I graduated in 1990. However, the job market wasn’t so hot. I decided to change my direction and continue my passion of changing homeowners’ lives through paint. That was the moment that Home Painters was born.
